When booking through this website, please be advised that you are transacting with Kosipark Pty Limited and this is the narrative that will appear on your credit card statement. In these terms of use, a reference to “we”, “our” or “us” means Kosipark PTY Limited ACN 629 224 317 which is the operator of this website. A reference to ‘you’ or ‘your’ is referring to all the guests of Kosciuszko Tourist Park.

By proceeding with an accommodation booking on this website, you agree to these terms and conditions.

The tariff quoted is current at the time of booking and is inclusive of GST. As we are a prepaid accommodation any outstanding amount must be paid at the time of check-in. Any additional charges incurred after check-in must be paid in full at the time they are incurred.

Promotion: Only one promotional offer can be redeemed on any booking, Promotional code or voucher must be redeemed at the time of booking. Discounts will not be applied or refunded after a booking has been confirmed.

Online Tariff: You get the best prices when you book online as compared to the tariff over the phone or emails.

Credit Card or Debit Card fees: All Card payments will incur a non-refundable card surcharge of 1.50% of the total transaction value.

*Deposit: If your arrival date is more then 7 days 50% or the 1st night of the booking is required to confirm the booking. Less then 7 days the whole booking amount will be charged (Irrespective of the day you have booked). The balance will come off the nominated card 2-3 days prior to your arrival. If we come across any issues with your card we will contact you.

Cancellation: 

  • Please Note: the cancellation policy only applies to the Best Available Rate as all the other rates are non-refundable.
  • Where bookings are cancelled less than 14 days prior to arrival total Loss of *Deposit (or one night’s accommodation whichever is greater. Withing 14 days of arrival the full booking amount is considered as a deposit).
  • Where bookings are cancelled over 15 days prior to arrival, an amount equalling 25% of the total accommodation will be retained (or one night’s accommodation whichever is greater). The balance will be refunded on the same card used for payment.
  • There will be no exceptions made for cancellations due to Ski injuries or medical reasons.

Early Departure: There are no refunds provided for early departures.

Transfer or Amendment of Booking: 

  • Please Note: the below policy only applies to the Best Available Rate as all the other rates are non-amendable.
  • Less than 7 days prior to arrival bookings can’t be amended.
  • Less than 14 days prior to arrival $70 or first night or 15 % of the total tariff (whichever is greater) transfer fees apply.
  • Greater then 15 days $50 or first night or 10 % of the total tariff (whichever is greater) transfer fees applies.

Credit Notes: All credit notes are to expire within 12 months of the issue date.

Fires: All the powered Sites, Cabins, Chalets and most of the unpowered sites have fire pits. Fires are permitted at the park given there is no fire ban, No wood from outside is permitted in the park. It is also a condition of entry into Kosciuszko National Park, that no trees or branches be used in the fireplaces. Firewood is sold by bags and can be purchased at the Reception. You can also buy firewood in bulk if you are staying for a long period by providing us enough notice. Fines will apply for people not following the park rule.

Check-in: Check-in is 3 pm. You should report to the reception and sign in on arrival. If the reception is closed please follow the after-hours procedure.

Check out: 10 am check-out applies to all bookings. Rooms or cabins left in an unsatisfactory state will incur a cleaning charge of $300. A day charge applies after 12 pm and failure to check out up to 5 pm your booking will be automatically extended and the charges will be applied on your given credit card.

Late Arrival: If you are unable to check in until 5 pm, we will be leaving your details in an envelope outside the reception door with your name on it on the late arrivals board. if you have booked a site you will get the details via a Text message after the office closes.

No Show: If you are not able to make it on your day of arrival your booking will automatically be classified as a No show. In case of a No show, you will lose all the money paid. Please inform us if your arrival date has changed.

Occupancy:  Each Two-Bedroom Chalet and Cedar Cabin will accommodate a maximum of 6 persons. Three Bedroom Spa Chalets will accommodate a maximum of 8 people. Each powered and unpowered site will accommodate a maximum of 6 persons. The tariff is based on the number of guests for the specified time and duration. Any changes thereto may result in an increase to the tariff and you agree to pay any increase at the time of change.  Extra People: We expect all our customers to advise us if there are any extra number of people joining them during their staying, If there are more people staying then declared you will get charged for the maximum occupancy of that particular Site or Cabin on your given card.

Children:  Guest aged 2 to 15 at the time of your visit are classified, children. Infants under the age of 2 at the time of your visit are free of charge, however, are still counted as “an occupant” of the Chalet, Cabin or camping site.

Linen: Doonas and pillows are provided for each bed. Personal linen (sheets, pillowcases and towels) is to be provided by guests. However, linen hire is available at a minimal extra cost and if required should be arranged at the time of booking, or no less than a week prior to your arrival date.

Extra Vehicle: Only one vehicle is permitted per booking. Extra vehicles may be accepted with an extra vehicle charge.

OTA Bookings: Where a booking is done via an online travel agent (OTA) eg. Agoda, Booking.com, etc. Your payment is taken by the OTA and kosipark is paid via a Virtual card. Any discrepancy with payments, customer should reach out to their respective booking site.

Site Preference: We cannot guarantee a particular site or Cabin number. We reserve the right to relocate any booking under exceptional circumstances.

Pets: We are not pet-friendly hence You are not permitted to bring animals with you to the park.

Smoking: Smoking is not permitted in any park facilities (including cabins/rooms, Camp Kitchen and amenities). If you smoke in a cabin/room, you will incur a $300 cleaning fee.

Flora and Fauna: Being located in the National Park, the local environment is particularly attractive and fragile, and, our native animals are very trusting and visitor friendly. These are protected. Please be kind to our plants, animals and birds. 

Park Use Fee: The NPWS requires a Park Use Fee for visitors to the National Park. Information is available by phoning the Service on 02 6450 5600, or visit their website.

Cut off time: Quiet time in the park is after 10 pm. You must respect the comfort of others staying in the park. Any unruly behaviour, excessive noise, drunkenness, bad and/or offensive language will not be tolerated and may result in you being evicted from the park without refund.

Right of removal: If during your stay, you or your party fails to comply with these terms and conditions, then addition to any other right we may have, we may immediately evict your party without refund.

Park rules, guidelines, and safety instructions
You must obey all park rules, guidelines and signage and reasonable requests from park staff; abide by the signed speed restrictions in the park; take care for your own safety and the safety of others; and
safely and securely stow your possessions.

Tariff: All the Tariff quoted is dynamic and can change depending on factors like the time you book and the season you are staying. Tariffs will be higher during peak period and lower during off peak. Tariffs may change without notice from time to time.

In accordance with applicable legislation, we reserve the right to protect our lawful interests and deter security incidents such as theft, vandalism, unruly behavior, and violence. CCTV cameras may be operated and, if operated, will be visible.

All recreational activities are undertaken solely at the risk of the participant. You are responsible for supervising and ensuring the safety of any minors undertaking recreational activities. Participants undertaking recreational activities must use all safety equipment provided by us for use when undertaking the recreational activity.  Helmets must be worn at all times when using bicycles, skateboards, scooters or any other wheeled toy.
